Green Products Training Program (GPTP)

Since our living standard is rising, people begin to care about environmental protection and human health. Every buyers and manufacturers are raising their responsibility and awareness in producing green products.

No matter that is manufacturers or purchasing agencies, they are also facing different new coming regulations or client requirements (eg, RoHS, EUP, REACh…etc). How to fulfill all of their requirements and at the same time to lower the cost, lower the risk and to raise the efficiency? It is the most difficult challenge to the industry.

In order to help the EE industry in solving all of these difficulties, SGS is now providing a one-stop service that can satisfy the needs of our clients. Our services including chemical testing, law & regulation training, lead-free reliability, ecodesign, green product management system training, green product management system audit. Our SGS Green Product Training Plan developed one set of solutions to help our clients to deal with all of the green product requirements. We will also assist to set up clients’ own green product management system and solve the problem of hazardous substances in order to fulfill or even exceed your clients’ requirement or international standard (eg, IECQ QC 080000).

GPTP services included 4 sessions, totally 20 courses:

Session 1. Gap Analysis
By using SGS Gap analysis, client can understand the gap between existing management system and the optimal Green product requirements. It is important for high management to consider and allocate applicable resources (including manpower, money, equipment…etc) and setup implementation plan.

Session 2. Hazardous substances and its related regulation
In order to control the hazardous substances in your product and every stage of production, producers should understand the requirements and application of each regulation. Through SGS session 2 training, clients should be able to handle hazardous substances requirements from worldwide.

Session 3. Process management training
By attending and effectively using SGS session 3 training, your production team can handle and setup a green product management system which can comply with requirements of clients and regulations. Also, it can fit into your existing management system. Make sure that your product is Green compliance and your process management can pass the audits by clients / international standard (eg, IECQ QC080000).

Session 4. Auditor training
SGS auditor training can develop auditor’s ability to check their suppliers or internal parties for any corrective action needed in the hazardous substances management. It aims to improve the green product management system continuously.
